T-Shirt Tuesday — Back In Black

August 19, 2008

T-Shirt Tuesday is back! And, so is the original Hero Happy Hour Hideout Bar & Grill t-shirtback in black, to be exact! This design was extremely popular when it was first produced to promote (Super) Hero Happy Hour, and I’ve had folks asking me when these shirts would once again be available. Well, they’re available now through MySoti.com. It took me awhile to find the right means to once again provide the high quality and look of the original, but now that I have, you can support your favorite neighborhood super hero watering hole by sporting a Hideout Bar & Grill to-shirt.

So, do Chris Fason and myself a solid and help spread the word about Hero Happy Hour and the Hideout Bar & Grill — “a place where everybody knows your name,” secret identity or not. Also, if I see you wearing this in a bar I will buy you a drink!

T-Shirt Tuesday – Han Job

January 15, 2008

Alright, I take my Star Wars pretty serious — especially the holy trinity that is the classic trilogy of A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi. Sure, I mock the prequels, but generally I show Episodes IV, V, and VI nothing but respect. Then I saw this shirt…

It’s wrong — I know — but it puts a smile on my face. Come to think of it, I’m wondering why Han isn’t smiling. This t-shirt can be found at… Where else? T-Shirt Hell.

Supporting Our Writers

November 7, 2007

writerslovetshirt.jpgI woke up real early this morning — unable to sleep. In fact, I haven’t slept well the last two nights — tossing and turning and/or having really weird and exhausting dreams when I do happen to fall asleep for 10 or 15 minute periods. Now, I’m not saying that the Writers Strike is what is keeping me up at night, but it is a concern of mine — either as a fan of television and films or as a future member of the WGA. Since I gave up sleeping this morning at around 5:00 AM I thought I’d do something creative. So, I came up with this t-shirt design to show my support. I know it’s not officially “T-Shirt Tuesday” but I thought I’d go ahead and post it regardless.

It’s a nice simple design with a filmstrip crossing over a heart that I think gets the point across. If anybody else is interested in showing their support for the writers you can find t-shirts, buttons, etc… here.

T-Shirt Tuesday — Bastard Covered Bastards

September 11, 2007

While I’m not exactly offering the following design for sale, I think it would make a rather cool t-shirt.

Anybody who knows me knows that I absolutely dig the show Scrubs — almost to the point of being religious about viewing it. I own the first five seasons on DVD and I can tell you exactly when the syndicated reruns are shown (4:00, 4:30, 7:00, 7:30 on Comedy Central, 8:30 and 9:00 on WGN). One of the best lines ever from the show… “People are just bastard covered bastards with bastard filling.” Amen.

T-Shirt Tuesday: Hideout Bar And Grill

March 13, 2007

hideouttshirt.jpgBack when I first published the comic book (Then Super) Hero Happy Hour I produced promotional t-shirts that advertised the fictional bar in which the comic book takes place. They were a big hit and my limited stock disappered quickly. So I came up with a new Hideout Bar & Grill T-Shirt. They’re not solid black like the previous run (I just can’t seem to figure out how to format the original image to print on a black t-shirt), but features a new “retro” oval design (which you can see below). I’ll work on making more Hideout Bar & Grill wear available as well. I guarantee you — if I see you wearing this t-shirt in a bar I will buy you a drink.

And there’s more GeekPunk Gear — for guys, gals, and youngins. Be Geek! Be Punk! Be Proud!

T-Shirt Tuesday: Ninja Bandito

January 23, 2007

I’m starting something new this Tuesday — a little shameless self-promotion and and an attempt to drum up some support for my various projects (the ones on the front burners as well as those off to the side) in the works. I’m not sure if it’ll happen every Tuesday, but Tuesdays will be the days that you can expect to find T-Shirt Tuesday here at the ol’ blog. What it will be is a showcase for various t-shirts and the like that I’m offering at my CafePress store GeekPunk Gear. Like I said — shameless self-promotion.
