There is no denying Steve Gerber’s contribution to the world of comic books — from writing such memorable runs on The Defenders, Man-Thing, and Guardians of the Galaxy, as well as creating the beloved Howard the Duck, and a personal favorite animated television character of mine — Thundarr the Barbarian.
